Young Blessings is a state licensed non-profit group child care center housed within Peace Lutheran Church. We've grown from a small preschool program to include full day child care to meet the needs of the community. Our preschool class is part of your child's day during the school year from Sept-May. Preschool class only is still available for families that wish to choose the morning only option.

Throughout the school year we provide field trips and set up visits from local and area businesses and community helpers. Book readers visit frequently, donating their time and a book for each child!

Some of our field trips include: The Lettie Jensen Library, International Bank of Amherst, a visit to a local dairy farm, and Earth Day clean-up around our village.

Our daily schedule is structured so that children feel comfortable and relaxed. The lesson plans include free choices/play, story time and discussion, math, art, music, science and also small/large muscle activities and games.
We review colors, shapes, numbers and letters throughout the school year, often with the aid of flannel board stories, games and books.
